Kelly Stukey

Living on the Central Coast for 21 years, Kelly is an enthusiast of health and wellness! She has worked as a Sales Rep for a medical device company for 16 years. She teaches cycle class at a local athletic club.

She is a R.N., esthetician, and a personal trainer. She is passionate about making a difference for people in the world of wellness! Being the Founder of Girls Going Greater as been the highlight of this decade for her!

Jennifer Thompson

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER

Born and raised on the Central Coast and living by the ocean is Jennifer's therapy! She feels blessed that her work is also her other passion: interior design—which she has been doing since 1983. She is a Cal Poly grad living the dream!

She is passionate about "paying it forward" to members of the community in need of support—not just financially, but encouragement and understanding, too.

Peggy McCain

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER

Enjoying retirement with her husband and blessed to have her two children and three grandchildren in the area.   

Peggy loves being of service to her family, church, and community. Her heart is working with children in Jack’s Helping Hand SLO Hoof Beats.

Ariana Lovato

PResident

Central Coast of California-based Interior Designer, Ariana Afshar Lovato, has always had a spark for design and all things creative. With an Associate’s degree in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from University of LaVerne, Ariana possesses a strong understanding of design and culture to create spaces based on her clients’ passions and needs.

Upon graduation, Ariana worked in various creative fields, such as Product Development and as a lead Designer before branching out on her own and starting Honeycomb Home Design, an Interior Design firm specializing in Remodels and New Construction, in 2016.

Being her own boss and carving her own path is very important to Ariana. She is so happy to be a part of such a strong group of women who come together for these amazing causes!

Katie Robinson

Vice President

Katie is a working mother of three children who grew up on the Central
Coast. Her love for serving others began in 2004 when she began
working with foster youth in SLO county.

Her passion lead her through
an undergraduate degree in Sociology at Cal Poly and a Masters in
Social Work through Cal State Long Beach. Her commitment to advocate
for foster youth in our community over the past decade landed her as
the Program Director at Court Appointment Special Advocates (CASA).

In her free time she loves being outdoors with her family and friends,
hiking, exploring, trying new restaurants, camping, and baking for
family and friends.

She enjoys being apart of the strong and dedicated leadership of GGG
and continuing to give back to the community.

Diana Dennis

Secretary

Since relocating from the Central Valley to the Central Coast in 2013, Diana has found purpose in this community.  She became a full time licensed Realtor in 2005 and is currently with Keller Williams Realty Central Coast in Pismo Beach.  Diana has earned her designation as a Senior Real Estate Specialist and is a member in good standing with the California Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and Women's Council of Realtors.  Whether you're a buyer, seller or investor on the Central Coast, you're in good hands with experience you can trust.

She is a volunteer with Five Cities Meals On Wheels program and delivers meals weekly to her clients.  Diana also serves on other miscellaneous community events throughout the year. Girls Going Greater has extended her opportunity to network with amazing women while contributing to women and children in our community. 

Myriam Olaizola

tReasurer

Born and raised in France, Myriam fell in love with the Central Coast and has made it her second home. She studied social sciences, psychology, and has a BS in organizational management with an emphasis in human resources.

She is the founder and owner of Black Sheep Bar & Grill in downtown San Luis Obispo, where she is able to share her passion for food, wine, and good times among friends and family.

She also loves to dance, travel, learn new things, and make a difference!

Through her own fundraisers she has raised over 80K for breast cancer and local charities.

She is thrilled to be part of the Girls Going Greater and honored to help better the lives of women and children in our community, one event at a time, and thanks you for your support. 

Melissa Parker

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER

Born and raised in southern California, Melissa calls herself a native of SLO for the past 30 years. She fell in love with the small town charm, friendly people, and beautiful location. Dancing since early childhood her passion continues for all things "dance" and she became a certified pilates instructor in 2010. Beauty is all around us... she believes that is what set the stage for her passion for esthetics.

She continues to enjoy an extensive esthetics career with a deep desire to inspire and uplift all of her clients. She has worked alongside dermatologists, surgeons, physical therapists, and chiropractors. She currently shares her gifts of healing touch at the Dolphin Bay Resort in Shell Beach.

Tyler Skinner

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER

A Cal Poly-SLO Alumni with over 10 years’ experience in project management, marketing, public relations/community outreach, and non-profit organizations. While at CalPoly, she studied abroad in Madrid, Spain and engaged in both teaching English to business executives and international business ventures. Now fluent in the Spanish language and a love of fostering connection through her love of language and cultures. She currently sit on the Board of directors for NAWBO-National Association of Women Business Owners Central Coast Chapter as Corporate Partner Chair and was recently invited to join the board of the San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum. Apart from being a lover of life, travel, a good meal, inspiring others and impromptu dance parties, she is a risk taker and loves a variety of challenges that foster the idea of being Bold!
